Sublime Living

The challenge of this interior architecture project was to create interiors for the villa that harmoniously integrated with the natural surroundings and provided moments of reflection and contemplation by the river. Additionally, it was important to contrast the light tones that highlight the river and sky with the grey tones alluding to the Vasco da Gama Bridge's concrete, present in the sanitary facilities.

The approach for this project focused on creating spaces that highlighted the view of the Tagus River and provided moments of contemplation and relaxation in the natural surroundings. The chosen finishes were carefully selected to enhance the natural beauty of the environment, through the use of light and contemporary tones such as pine wood and white stone. On the other hand, the grey tones alluding to the concrete of the Vasco da Gama Bridge in the sanitary facilities were used to create a counterpoint to the villa's softness and lightness, reinforcing the intimate relationship between the residents and the natural surroundings.
